Somatic Improvisation Workshop: Integrity & Fluidity through the Bones
01.12, SUNDAY
5:00PM - 7:30PM
Our bones lever us through space and support our weight in relationship to gravity. We create shapes and forms through the embodiment of the spirals, density, buoyancy, fluidity of our bones. The spaces within the joints offer us possibilities and provide axis in which movement can occur. This is an experiential anatomy workshop in which we will be exploring the bones and structures of our body-mind. Through the integrity and organisation of the 206 bones of our body, we can find supporting ground and clarity for our thoughts and creative expressions. This session will also involve both movement and hands-on contact work.

Exploring Inner Space through Objects
08.12, SUNDAY
2:00PM - 4:30PM
A practice of “listening”: this movement workshop invites participants to engage in a unique exploration of their bodies through the use of objects. Through attentive “listening” to objects, participants open up inner space within the body, and allow objects to guide their physical experience, enhancing bodily awareness and developing sensitivity, encouraging creativity and personal expression. Participants will engage in guided improvisational exercises, experimenting with moving passively while holding or interacting with objects, allowing their bodies to respond naturally to the influence of objects rather than forcing movement. By participating in this workshop, participants can deepen their understanding of bodily movement and also to foster a greater appreciation for how external elements can shape our internal experiences. This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in exploring movement, and curious about enhancing their physical awareness. No prior experience is necessary; all levels are welcome.

Parkour Flow: Fluidity and Momentum in Motion
14.12, SATURDAY
4:30PM - 7:00PM
Parkour is a movement discipline centered around overcoming physical and mental obstacles, by adapting to and navigating around our environment using only the human body. This philosophy affords multiple outcomes: these include finding freedom of expression, creating flow in movement, and learning to manage our relationship with danger, risk and fear. In this workshop, we will dive deep into the concept of flow in parkour using railings, walls and the floor. Through a combination of technical drills, creative movement exercises, and obstacle-based challenges, participants will learn fundamental parkour movements and how to link them in a natural flow, minimizing pauses and maintaining momentum. Through guided practice, partner drills, and freestyle exploration, participants will cultivate their ability to move through obstacles with grace, control, and efficiency. By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained practical skills for enhancing their parkour flow, along with a deeper understanding of how fluidity and momentum can elevate their movement practice. Suitable for All Levels. Prior dance background is not required. This workshop will be at an introductory level, with room to scale up for up to intermediate level general movement practitioners.
